What a great dining
experience!! We are foodies from way back and Francophiles to boot.
It doesn't get any better than this - fantastic French food,
sensational French wine and genuine French waiters and owners. It
doesn't get any more authentic than that. We'll be back plus our
friends and relations. Thanks for the dining experience.

I had a very satisfying meal, a lovely
filet de boeuf that was cooked perfectly nice and tender, the
potatoes were lovely so as the gratin dauphinois ...
The clafoutis aux cerises was EXCELLENT !!
Brilliant combination of fruit and pastry different tastes all at
the same time beautiful !! I think that this restaurant is a perfect
place to discover the tastes of France... Well Done ! |

Finally a genuine
French restaurant in Byron Bay! And what a restaurant!
In Australia
for 4 years now, it's hard to say how much we've missed the French
cuisine. Now, we know where to go. There is no place that could be
more French that The Petit Snail. The French staff is "friendly as"
and so professional. And the foooooooooood!!! The Sea Food Croissant
we had was as gorgeous as the more shameful sin! And the trout was
absolutely to die for. Sure is that after such pleasure, we won't go
to Heaven but the chef sure will!!! Honestly, the one who has never
been to the Petit Snail, has never tasted the real Taste of France!
Great job guys! |

We have dined in
many places whilst travelling, and the Petit Snail was a highlight
for sure!. Tasty menu choices, our waiter recommended well, when we
asked for his opinion. (merci Antoine). We had a 3 course meal and
would hardly finish! Having a refreshing sorbet bw entrée and main.
The bread is divine as was the Vrai Crème Broulee. Both owners
walked around the tables and had a chat with their customers, what a
treat, do not see that very often. Dominique and Igor have
established a warm, cosy environment to showcase their cuisine. If
in Byron you MUST VISIT, you will be taken care of. |

The best of the best Cuvee du Patron (C'est pas de la pisse), fondue
Savoyarde (don't miss this), filet de boeuf so big and tasty
(Recommendation take the sauce Blue Vein Cheese) and the smile of
all the friendly people in this amazing restaurant. The best way to
travel and feel in France in Australia. Merci et a bientot for sure
